ABeeZ is a game to help reinforce learning of the A-Z english alphabet. Upper case letters are the main focus.Lower case letters are also part of the game. To make the learning process more varied the number of levels used to catch all the letters is not fixed so that all the letters can be caught in one level so no two games need to be the same.
Testing your arithmetic for addition, subtraction, multiplication is also part of the game. At a basic level the 4 arithmetic operators control the speed. As level numbers increase so does the number used in the arithmetic operations i.e. 1 for Level 1, 2 for Level 2 etc. They can also be used in more advanced way to control collection of the money either coins or notes which will help complete the collection of the letters more quickly or allow more time for the ambulance to fly up and down as well.
Telling the time in 24hr, ampm and analogue display is part of the interface of the game. By tapping the screen you can switch between 24hr and ampm; rotating 3 finges switches the display to analogue. The time is also used in controlling the library opening times where the book with the required letters for the level can be dropped off to complete a level or game.
If the player has money collected then the light at the bottom of the screen can be tapped to allow the player to fly up and down the screen. The count down timer can be switched between seconds and minutes to help show the user how hours and minutes are related.
A compass control is used to rotate the ambulance indicates direction in degrees. North,East,West and South is also indicated.
The more varied the learning environment, the more adaptive your skills.
